Hi! Welcome to my web page. I finished my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University
of Rhode Island in 1997. My dissertation was on list coloring bipartite graphs,
but now I mostly study the mathematics of origami (paper folding).
I'm an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.

I updated my Job Interview Advice page, in case anyone is interested. In the Spring 2008 semester I will be teaching MA219 Calculus III (Sections A and B) and MA323 Combinatorial Geometry (i.e., origami math!) The textbook we'll be using for this class is Project Origami, a book I wrote last year. It'll be available in the bookstore. Fall 2007 Classes: My classes for the Fall 07 semester are MA219 Calculus III (Sections A and B) and MA343 Intro. to Real Analysis. Both of those courses have Blackboard pages if you want more information. Email me if you have any questions about these courses! |

Book news: My recent book is Project Origami: activities for exploring mathematics. (AK Peters website, cover,
TOC) I'm currently working on another book, but it's going slowly... Talk news: I'll be giving a talk at the Teaching Contemporary Mathematics conference held at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Jan. 25-26, 2008. I'm also an invited speaker for the Illinois Section of the MAA's Spring Meeting, April 4-5, 2008. |
There are a lot of things on this site. As it's grown they've gotten all inter-mingled and some of the links go in circles. Below is a list of the main things here, but feel free to explore!
