... SOME  FAVORITE ITALIAN LINKS
:
There are lots of great links to Italian web sites... These are only a few! One of my favorites is definitely the site of the Italian Cultural Center in San Francisco.  You can also visit here for all sorts of interesting tidbits on Italy, its
regions, and its towns.  Another good site to travel around virtual Italy is Initaly.  Here's a great resource for Italian recipes in English (and in Italian, too!). If you are interested in exploring Italian music, here you will find a good starting point.

If you are a beginner, here is a nifty site to practice your Italian. And here's how to find out what's going in Italy and practice the language at the same time: you can read the newspaper or watch/listen to the news.  If you have high-speed Internet check out this site, where you can find all sorts of programs to watch in Italian. RAI also has a website where you can explore Italian as a second language, Italica.
