Merrimack College Investment Society Associated Fund
Merrimack College Investment Society Associated Fund is a private fund with an investment objective of seeking appreciation of capital by investing in equity securities and other money market instrument. We look to find opportunities in large cap positions that meet certain criteria on a growth or value basis. While following our fundamental equity strategy, the Fund uses other financial instruments, such as derivates, to enhance performance and reduce risk further.
Objectives
The Merrimack College Investment Society Associated Fund is a private fund with an investment objective of seeking capital through equities and other money market instruments. Our fund is focused on large-cap equity investments that meet certain criteria on a growth or value basis. Along with an asset allocation model and diversification strategy, other financial instruments such as derivates are used to enhance performance and reduce risk further. We combine fundamental analyses and techniques, with a unique investing strategy to enhance performance and mitigate risk.

Portfolio Mangers
To achieve the Fund’s investment objectives, the Fund invests primarily in large capitalization companies. The Fund primarily invests in companies with low price to earnings ratios and low sales to book value ratios, and stocks yielding a dividend. The fund also seeks investments in large capitalization stocks experiencing great revenue and earnings growth. The fund prides its self on being discipline and finding value within the market place, but other opportunity strategies are also exploited. Along with fundamental techniques, financial instruments such as derivates are used to enhance performance and reduce risk. Executing the combination of growth and value investing and fundamental techniques including Portfolio theory, with our unique investment strategies provide transparent guidance with steadfast, resolute, growth. The Fund will make equity decisions based on the research and guidance of the MCIS advisory group. Manager duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Advisory Group
The Merrimack College Investment Society Advisory Group is the analytical side of the MCISAF. Our research objective is to seek financial and origination transparency among companies within the equity, bond, and money markets. Our equity recommendations are focused on meeting criteria as a growth or value opportunity. Other financial research and recommendations are handled with the same fundamental approach and combined with the unique analyses to uncover investment opportunities in the domestic and global capital markets.
