of Merrimack  College in  North Andover,
Massachusetts.  Our facility features a 12 station Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system that uses Sawtooth Technologies' WinCati software.  This  computer system and software utilizes state-of-the-art technology that allows for customized, reliable, and efficient data collection.  CPOR offers start to finish consulting services in order to assist you with any and all aspects of the survey research process.  These services include:

Project Design

The CPOR staff will work with you in selecting an appropriate research methodology and sampling strategy in order to meet your study objectives.  We will develop an appropriate survey instrument (or alternate measure) and will consult on question wording, format, ordering, and scaling.  In the design process we work to make sure that your data are collected in the most accurate and cost-effective manner given your goals and budget.

Data Collection

The center is fully equipped to conduct Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI), which greatly enhances the flexibility, efficiency, and accuracy of the survey research process.  Our staff of trained interviewers can also be utilized for face-to-face interviews either of the general population or of more specialized organizations or groups.  We are also able to conduct mail, web based, or mixed mode surveys, as well as facilitate focus group or semi-structured in-depth interviews.

Analysis and Reporting

CPOR prepares statistical analyses and reports of survey results in a variety of formats.  Depending on your requirements these reports can include: simple descriptive statistics, two-way tables, weighted or un-weighted results, multivariate analysis, advanced scaling and statistical techniques.  We are also able to provide presentation graphics, methodology reports, narrative reports, executive summaries/press materials, qualitative or content analysis, and raw data in a variety of formats.
